SPSFC5 Team Update Page: The Space Girls

Welcome to The Space Girls SPSFC5 update page!

The SPSFC is the Self-Published Sci-Fi Competition. Once again I am leading the team, The Space Girls. This year’s team has had some line up changes: we are welcoming back Kerry, Nancy and Tina, and are joined by Hel.

I really liked the way that Athena of One Reading Nurse had a ‘team page’ compiling all of the updates and info from the contest in one place, and so hope to do the same here.

Introduction

Now in it’s 5th year, the SPSFC celebrates self-published sci-fi. This year we have 124 books entered across 6 teams, and The Space Girls have an initial allocation of 25 books!

You can learn more about The Space Girls here: The Space Girls Team is back!

Round one

You can see all 25 books we have been allocated here, including covers, blurbs and links to purchase: The Space Girls Book Allocation.

Our process is to read up to 30% of each book, and rate ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on whether we want them to continue to the next round.
